The sound on these little guys is pretty good, believe it or not. When Id the box,
I thought they were going to sound horrible, but they sounded pretty good for what they are.
Of course, the bass is a little weak, but these were not made or priced to compete with high
end speakers. I tested the speakers on my Gigabyte board with a built in Realtek ALC655 sound chip.
Id up Win Amp and played some streaming heavy metal music from ChroniX Aggression,
with the volume cranked up all the way. To my surprise, there was no distortion or cracking at
all. I then fired up a game of Call of Duty and played for an hour, way more than enough volume
to blow you out of your seat. The speakers passed all the sound tests I threw at them with flying
colors.
