Final Impressions
Overall the Enermax CS-3051L-S3A is a solid case that offers that
modified look without the end user having to take a course in metalworking.
With plenty of room to mount accessories and drives, the Enermax CS-3051L-S3A
allows even the most gadget/accessory minded users a wide range of system
configuration. The 120mm front intake fan, 80mm side panel intake fan,
dual 80mm exhaust fans and the 80mm Blowhole located in the top along
with the slanted slots helps this case move large amounts of air across
your system's components. This will help keep even the fastest of the
AMD platforms cool and comfortable. The factory location of the Neon Light
switch was not really well thought out. The simple repositioning of the
switch by Andrew Ace made its access quick and handy. Enermax are you
listening? There are a couple other things I wish this case had included.
The removable motherboard tray is one of them. As I stated there is plenty
of room to mount your ATX platform but this feature would help make this
task a bit more convenient. The other is the fact that this case supports
a total of five fans and only the clear blue side panel fan was included.
These fans may have been left off due to cost but in the long run it will
cost the end user more to add these than what the additional cost during
manufacturing would have been.
If you are looking to show off your new hotrod of a system or just want
to give your old rig a new look without having to break out the tools,
the Enermax CS-3051L-S3A could just be the case for you. Enermax also
offers this same case design in black (CS-3061L-BS). I have to say this
case has been the conversation piece around here. During our testing phase
my daughter Mini-Bite volunteered to kept a watchful eye on the case and
as we neared completion of our review process put in her formal request
for the case. We had been kicking around the idea of modding a case for
her by installing a window and lighting kits but we haven't had the time.
Now when Mini-Bite heads off to bed she is greeted by the soft Blue Neon
glow that fills her room from the Enermax CS-3051L-S3A.
