The motherboard is SLI capable, having two PCI-E 16X slots; it also has 2 regular PCI slots, and two PCI-E 1X slots. The board has eight SATA ports, two IDE ports, and one floppy port.
The rear panel of the motherboard has two PS/2 ports, for keyboard and mouse, a printer port, a serial port, SPIF in and SPIF out, four USB ports, two LAN ports, and six sound ports (4x line out, 1x line in, 1x microphone).
The motherboard comes with a Wireless LAN card supporting 802.11b and 802.11g specifications. If you use the Wireless LAN it will take up one of your regular PCI slots.
This is GigaBytes DPS card, or Dual Power System. It plugs into the motherboard and adds two phases of power to the board. Most motherboards are four-phase power; Gigabyte boards with the DPS are six-phase power.
