did you try the card out with the DScaler software? http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/

out of the various programs i tried, dscaler consistantly gives the best results.

i've been looking for a new tuner card to replace my aged tv wonder pci, and i was hoping it would be this one. but the main deciding factor for me is how it looks with dscaler running the card
