Hey Joe...
Any truth to the rumor your fine company authorized you to hand out free memory to all the fine folks at AthlonXP? I heard it was a MB per post, or somethin' like that...
Nice marketing idea...

Pf,
"bad sticks" from Corsair are truly rare. We do an enormous amount of testing to ensure the highest possible quality. Fact is, there are FAR more things that can go wrong with a mobo than a memory module. A typical module has <50 components while a typical mobo has 300-400.
but even among memory vendors there's big variations in quality. some companies just solder a module together and ship it out. we actually spend time testing and selecting quality components to "engineer" a good module. Then we test every module we build to make sure it meets our specs.

That's one heck of a fine rumor.... Is it retroactive? I could use 1.8GB of extra ram... Don't ask me how, but I'll find a way...

Oh, they'll ship international....however credit cards give you several points lower conversion rates than the official rates....so I'm looking at about $.50 on the US dollar. Add brokerage and taxes at the border, and I'm looking at probably 220% or more what an American has to pay in US $$.
There are certainly places that carry Corsair PC3200, but not necessarily matched and tested sticks.
Yeah I agree, and sometimes when you get hit with the customs bill it makes me soo mad!
I want a good CCD (Canadian Corsair Dealer)

a Corsair disty in Canada? suggest a good one and we'll go sign him up. We've had real rough luck with computer companies in Montreal going bankrupt and owing us money. But we do need a good mail order disty in Vancouver or Toronto. Who?

Is it 3200?
I think they've given away a couple single sticks of 2700, but that was from somebody else...
