personally ... i like bigapl's fan mod .... and would have voted for it (no offense to anyone else, but it is a cool little mod)

my god thats not what that was all about!
buddy got all defensive when I asked a simple question and then said time means nothing when it comes to mods. and no I didn't spend a gazillion hours on the mod so I win every contest I enter?
this mod has been in a few other contests and I didn't win! so I don't expect to win here either!

I didn't title the contest, I just pointed the title out

and no not to judge the person but their ability to perform mods by the results of their MOD/S and if you want to compete against the big leagues of modders that are out there your not going to come up with a winning mod in ten minutes.
I'm not saying ten minute mods are not good I'm saying when it comes to world best modders these guys have mods that are unreal and can not be done fast

so if dutch or scope messed up a mod that was in a contest and it didnt turn out so well, it would instantly mean that they dont have any modding ability at all... is that it?

or are you going to cook up some more twisted theories justifying why you spending 200+ hours on your desk would make you a great modder, or a member of the "big leagues"

well first off I did not enter this contest to just boast on how long it took me to perform the mods I entered, and in no way I'm I just coming up with twisted theories on justifying the time spent and do I think I'm a great modder or a big leaguer NO I don't. but you don't get what I'm trying to say, you say when it comes to modding time means nothing........................................
I DISAGREE is all I'm saying...........................................
I modded a system no different than anybody else and entered it by the rules of the contest.

IKilledMyAGOIA your unreal! where do you get I'm saying there ability would be instantly no good.....take a look at some of other modding contests around like TechTV modding contest, do you think the winners just slapped a 10 minute mod together to win a $10,000 prize. as for dutch and scope whoever they maybe, if they enter a modding contest with a mod that is messed up and they don't win that has nothing to do with their ability, it means that there was someone else the judges thought was better no different than any skilled based contest.

so in saying that I will show you how important it was to me that I mentioned how many hours I spent to perform my mods in a simple question.
I'm asking the judges of this five entry contest to withdrawl my entry to leave four. and if by the off chance I would have been one of the three winners, give the prize to IKilledMyAGOIA if he isn't a winner already!
because maybe if I was not an entrant of this contest he would see my point.

Your hard has paid off everyone and these are the winners:

For First prize baby - $200 Monarch Computer Gift Card goes to
IKilledMyAGOIA because of the intuitive idea of having a computer in a suitcase as a LAN party box!

Second prize - 512 Meg kit of OCZ PC3500 RAM for Dual Channel DDR goes to web56n because of the computer in a table mod, and the aluminum/color scheme.

Third prize - Athlon XP 2500+ goes to insaneman37 for his awesome paint and cabling management.

Congradulations everyone! You all did a mighty fine job, and I hope that the heated argument won't happen again because of a simple error.
