Ok as you can see im a big newb, and i dont know where to start on making a movie, all i really want to do is convert my cs.dem into a movie, which i can play in DivX or windows mdeia player, i dont want any special affects, only the pwnage of the demo

there's a good tutorial at the site. you should d/l videomach and then do what is said in tut. you only wont have sound
