Hi Dream,
Actually, our fan design cut down the noise from 60-65 db on nVidia reference designs, to 25-30 db, which I was told is quieter than the 9700Pro fans.

Wow! that is a nice reduction in sound on that sucker. Is the cooling a lot better? Or did we trade a bit of cooling ability for the reduction in sound?
Stevers, any of the geforce 4 cards (4200, 4400, 4600) are great cards. If you are on a tighter budget, the 4200s are really not that bad at all. Chaintech's A-gx21 on their site has quite a nice bundle with it as well. (not to mention looks pretty darn nice)

Hi Dream,
The cooling is also enhanced by what we call our Gas-Turbine technology, which they claim cools 30% better than conventional fan designs. Something about the hot air rising and getting funneled out by the two fans working together. We may put this solution on the 5800 standard and with the yield rate problems of 5800 Ultras, we may have struck gold here?? Something like overclocked 9700s to 9700Pros

Well that is always a good way to go. Set a part in your mind and save till you can get it. That is about what I did with the system you see below, but I had origionally wanted it with a hammer chip and a geforce fx.. but the hammer got dealyed, the fx got delayed.. so ended up with a slightly differnt setup, but I am totally happy with it. Just make sure the things you are getting is something that will do everything you want and you will be happy with it

Stevers, it is 2x512 twinx memory. I am going to be redoing my little banner a bit over this weekend. I want to redo the dragon and put a person in the picture=p but more importantly I think Ill change the text around a little and maybe switch the memory thing over. I picked the memory up over at monarch computers.

As you can tell, I'm not too familiar with these video functions. I only use my PS2 to play some games and watch DVDs... so I just match the colors. Although I'm really not too sure how VIVO works on the Video card tho... sorry!
vivo is just that video in and video out no audio but depending on the tivo sw you use vivo will work just fine im sure long as it will let you select video source and audio source theres no reason you cant do it.
