Yes, software is behind on the dx9 front. But you gotta have the hardware guys making the hardware that can run software that is ahead of whatever is out now, to give the software folks incentive to make something better. Otherwise there would be no reason for the software guys to make software better as they would never sell anything if it outdid the hardware=p

Nefir, I guess It could be, but I would think that hardware would more push it. People can always use faster hardware, even in older programs. However, you get faster more demanding software and people wont buy it because they cant use it. No buys, no money, no incentive to make

Ray, I am curious, (If or what) in the future, will Gainward be doing with graphics cards that can act kinda like Tivo? Would love to be able to hook my tv video into the computer and pause it and such and come back later and pick up where I left off.
