I apologize for any inconvenience or the vague rules. I should have edited my first post and added what I had put in the entry thread.
The situation will have a remedy and there will be a winner(s). We haven’t figured this out due to the lack of entries that came in. Our internal quota which we did not explicitly state was 20.

Well, shucks... I'm glad ya told us before we posted pics of the rear spoiler from ScopEDog's Subaru RSX, which we modded to house the water-cooled FX-53 gaming rig. And to think Klos hand-painted the Monarch butterfly's annual migration theme with an airbrush all for nothing.
I 'spose we can sand her down and hope for another contest somewhere else.

Those guys submitted their mods in good faith and in accordance with the rules set out by yourselves.
So how the hell can you change the rules because an "Iintrnal quota" which you never made public was not met.
This is Bollocks of the highest order.
The best 3 mods should get the prizes as stated and the others should get a consolation prize for being mucked about.
It is not their fault that the contest crashed and burned, they lived up to their side of the bargain, now you should do the same.
I suggest if you have any future contests, you take the time and effort to post the rules clearly so as not to waste the time of the good people who use this forum.

Perhaps you should have made that internal quota known with the initial rules. Because you waited until after the contest had ended, I think that this "internal quota" should be voided. If you wanted a minimum of 20, you should have stated so in the rules.

considering i spent about 15 hours on my mod and about $50 not including the cd drive i have to order to make it work - just so i could have something to enter in this contest... yeah
also on a side note i think it it kinda weak that this contest was being run by monarch and not the site, so that if you are in the position it sounds like you are in, jasperm, with monarch only wanting to give one prize and us aking you to hold up your side of the bargain with three, this kind of thing could have been avoided

Considering that we do not need to ruin our integrity and through careful consideration the prize of the 2500+ will be sent out.
Sorry for any upset feelings! Since this was my first contest set up by me I have learned from my mistakes and everything in the future will be taken care of appropriately.
Everyone else who doesn't win - will get a $25 gift card paid by me because of my mistake.
