Soltek SL-75FRN-RL gets a "recommended product" award from MaximumOC.com

"...the SL-75FRN-RL is flawless! It's perfectly stable at 211mhz fsb, it's a great color, it's on par with the performance (at the same frequencies) as other nforce2 boards, and it's inexpensive! If you're looking for a solid 200mhz fsb board, this board is a great choice!"

You definitely know that through SEO, your business will benefit hugely, so you have to make sure to find the right Link Building Company that can help you gain your goals SEO on lookup motor rankings, finding the best Link Building Company for your business is a lot more crucial than ever. Link building Company will help you | Simple Website Templates. Every great website and web design needs a starting place or point. Our own newly redesigned website started from a basic template that was heavily modified to suit our needs and the same can be done for you. Using our simple sea website templates on our site you can buy website templates

The first time I saw Solteks new board KT400c, a thought it's just an 75 FRV with new name. But I was wrong. There are only 2 DDR slots, and only 2.1 audio card. Nevermind - those things you usally check before buying it.

But there are a lots of faults you'll realize during HW installation:

1. Pin-header is to far from front panel, so the cables to LEDs an switches might be too short in some cases. I had to tighten them really much.

2. The IDE connectors should be swap so you can more easily reach to IDE 2 with cable from your CD situated mostly in upper part of case. There could also be problem with length of cable. However, lots of boards have this kind of problem.

3. The DDR slots are on so bad place, that if you have too long AGP card (i mean the usuall card size) you won't be able to add or remove your RAM so easily.

4. Jumper for clearing CMOS is placed at hte bottom of board under a PCI 5 slot so if you have this slot used, you won't be able to use it unless you remove card in PCI 5.

Those are problems I found when installing this board. Maybe there are some else. KT-400c is one of cheaper boards. If you choose normal full-ATX version as KT-400 A, there aren't such faults.
So,... based on my own expirience I wouldn't recommend buying exactly this type to anyone.

what was the soltek model #?

right now my next soltek board will be an intel, for the sake of at least maintaining one product allegiance... this si probably gonna be the brand of board i stick with for a loooong time, unless anymone else can make somethign that looks as good, for the right price, with the schweet ocing and stability.

I dig the initiative, drev.

looks like they could have thought those through and swapped the South bridge location with the IDE/ Floppy connectors, and put pin header where the floppy is, also the agp lock takes up a bunch of space and probably shouldn't have been included on that board

oh well, if the price was right, I would have put up with those

It's SL-KT400c - official type. But I'm sure it's only some kind of lite-edition board. The only types i found on soltek web was full ATX KT400 A, A4, R. But those are completely different boards.

screw granite bay - too many problems.

Gigabyte 8INXP and 8sq800 are some of the best P4 boards i would hazard to guess.

(yeah, i investigated Intel options last week pathetic really)
