Thermaltake Xaser III V-1000D Case Review
Thermaltake Xaser III (V-1000D) Case Review
"Thermaltake has done a very good job overall keeping the design as clean as possible. More often then not, when a manufacturer gets this much stuff in a case it becomes rather congested."

its too bad they dont have the feature many other cases with the chenming design have - the removable hard drive cages
that would have been ideal in this situation, so their unique design could exist and also reduce the cons it has
I suppose the rotated cages would give more room around the motherboard, and it would present the broader section of the hard drives so more air can initially get to those hot running drives in a RAID configuration.
Sensible, but they could have adapted it for the every day user
Does the top bay temp monitor also have space for a hard drive?
Perhaps a little more description could be added on that.
Great review, though ill still stick with my $30 case

Thank you for your feedback. I will check and see if a hard drive will fit behind the Hardcano.
I don't really consider the hard drive cages not being removable a negative because of the rail system. To be honest, I really just touched the surface of the features of the case without going into an extreme amount of detail. After the 7th or so page in word I decided the article would be to long to cover everything extensively. There is truly alot to the case and I tried to cover the essentials which seperated this case from most of the other popular Chieftech chasis based designs.

Excellent Review
This review is an awesome review on this case. I would love to have this case for myself. Of course I am torn by the desire to show this case off to my friends at LAN parties, and by the price of the crane I will need to get to transport this to that LAN party.
Anyway, cool case. Maybe I could come across one someday.

I'd like to see a case with some CNC milling on the top - slots or something to let that heat escape...
I imagine the hardcano would be pretty good about getting the rest of the heat higher
interested in either one of these thermal take variations or the cheiftec Matrix MX variations of this case.. those are sweet looking, though not as many features

i have a question
Hello! Thank you for that review on this case. I have decided to buy this case as im building my computer for school. This is my first time building and I had a question. Since this case doesn't come with a power supply I was wondering how we know if the PSU works with the case and the mobo. I have used the site new egg to buy my parts and i was wondering if you could send me a link showing the best PSU thats compatible with this case for under 70 dollars. This would be really helpful! Thanks again!
