as I posted a few posts before about wanting to be takin out of the contest however I didn't have a chance so I'm giving my second place prize to you for your modded fan.
i have the same fan on one of my kids systems and i tried it and it works really good. we'll figure out how to get it to you either I give them your address or I'll ship it to you later.....

well, in that case, why dont you give the memory to peen?
his mod was actually really cool (sure, pun can be intended) and save for the fact that his mom dropped a fan on it, and f-ed the cpu, he could have had a really sweet pentium system rigged up

How dare you even suggest on who I should give it to and why I should, you were the one that pissed me off in the first place because you where so damn defensive you didn't want to even consider what I was trying to say. ( how do I know you were defensive because if you weren't you wouldn't have said anything)
I gave the prize up because I said I would and to prove to anyone that I wasn't just here thinking i would win just because I spent so many hours on it. fact of the matter is it took a long time to complete.
and look you were picked for first place with your mod after all do you see me griping over that not a chance you entered a cool mod and won fair n' square.
and BTW I know who dutch and scope are I just don't know them personally. I'm sure if you ask either one of them they'd tell you they have spent a lot of time building what they build or have built.
I'm sorry but I'm just a little upset you have the nerve to say..
BTW with your $200 bones looks like a lot to choose from on their site would take me forever to decide!

'tis a good mod. I've had the same mod on the lower front intake of the case I entered into the contest for a little over a year now. When I added it, it helped to cool my video card a little better and there was less turbulance of air going into the fan (although the same ammount of air) and it helped to quiet it down some.
