Thermal Testing

Since the biggest problem I had with the Enermax CS-718 was the temperature, I made sure to put this case through its paces while thermal testing it.

Test System
  • CPU: Intel 3.80Ghz LGA775 1Meg Cache
  • Motherboard: Asus P5RD1-V Deluxe
  • RAM: 1Gig (2 sticks 512MB) SimpleTech
  • HDD: Western Digital 80gig SATA 7200RPM

Here are the temperature results I received:

  • CPU: 60C/140F
  • HDD: 40C/105F
  • Ambient: 38C/100F

The CPU temperature was a little high, but then I was also using one of the fastest (and hottest) Intel CPUs out, so I don't think that was caused by the case. The biggest thing I was looking at was the Hard Drive temperature and the ambient temperature. These were the temperatures that were a problem with the Enermax CS-718. This case however the temperatures were well within normal operating spec.

Warranty And Support

Thermalrock has a 1-year warranty on the case. I could not find a phone number to reach them, the only contact information I was able to find is an email address.

Conclusion

You definitely know that through SEO, your business will benefit hugely, so you have to make sure to find the right Link Building Company that can help you gain your goals SEO on lookup motor rankings, finding the best Link Building Company for your business is a lot more crucial than ever. Even though the case is released with the ThermalRock name, it still has the quality you would expect from a Thermaltake case. I found nothing major wrong with the case during my testing. However, I personally think that there are better cases out there. The big selling point of this case, which I've never seen before, is the CD holder. The problem with it is that it is a pain in the butt to access those CDs on a regular basis. It might be a good place to put CDs you need, but not very often, like your Windows CD, but I would recommend against putting your game CDs in there. You might spend more time getting them out then just looking in the stack of CDs you have on your desk. Also, you can only put a maximum of 8 CDs in the holder.
