Overall, this TV tuner's picture looks great, it works great for an under $100.00 card and without having to run it on Windows Media Center OS like most tuners require to get it to work right. I did get a little annoyed at how the manual doesn't give you any real help, thank goodness for those mouse overs to let you know what each button does. Installation was easy and straight forward. This TV tuner did convince me that I need one for home pc to watch TV on. Being able to skip commercials is so easy and nice that it makes this tuner worth every cent. Recording quality was almost as good as live play and was just as easy. After installation, it ask if you would like to download Guide Plus, say yes, it's like a tv guide showing whats playing and all you have to do is select the show you want to record and it will automatically start recording when it is time. Very easy. The Music player worked good for radio and CD's. There also is a place to store and view pictures, odd feature I thought for a TV tuner but it worked just fine.

Conclusion

This TV tuner card is cheaper than most and works better than most I have tested or seen for around the same price range. If you are wanting a TV tuner and don't have Windows Media Center OS on your PC, then I would really suggest this card. The NVIDIA software works great, I did test on a NVIDIA based machine, but it would be hard for me to believe that it would'nt work on an ATI based system just as well. The only negatives I could find about the card is the little weird stuff happening at the top of the screen when in full screen but it is barely visible, that and the fact that you must click the icon on your desktop to start the app. I think it would be nice to sit down and click a button on the remote to turn on the TV, and if there is a button to do this, it should have been included in the manual, I couldn't find it, but it would be nice to just click a button on the remote and go. These are just little things but my duty to report them. The Good definately over weighed any negative I could find with this tuner. In short, go buy this card now if you ever wanted to start watch or recording TV on your PC.
