Again, I feel it is a very significant shortcoming to have the speaker wires being so short, especially when they are permanently attached. You should definitely consider this and measure your room or area where you intend on using this system before purchasing. Overall, I think this is a great product, sound quality is excellent, quality is superb, style is contemporary, but not so much as to look alien. Flexible in many ways, but limited in others, I feel I would have to give them a rating of 7/10. If the speakers and sub unit all came with no wires attached, I would supply my own speaker wire and still pay this price for them and would then get an easy 8/10 if not higher. If we are going to shell out this kind of dough for THX quality speakers, we should be able to set them up accordingly. I have thoroughly enjoyed reviewing these speakers. I just hope manufacturers like Logitech and the others will pay attention and give us what we are asking for soon. We don't play in a closet.
