The Benchmarks

Test System

  • Motherboard: Winfast NF4UK8AA
  • CPU: AMD64 3500+ 90nm
  • RAM: Simpletech PC-3200 1024MB (2 sticks 512MB)
  • Video: Geforce 6200TC
  • HDD: Western Digital 80gig SATA 7200RPM

In order to get an idea on how the motherboard performs I ran some tests with 3Dmark03 and Sandra Si-Soft. Some of the results that are heavily video card dependent are somewhat low, but that is because of the video card I used.

This is 3Dmark03, as I said, the score is a little low because of the video card.

Sandra

These are the tests I ran with Sandra, as you can see the scores are all what you would expect with an nForce4 Ultra chipset and a 3500+ CPU.

Warranty and Support

When I called Winfast to get tech support, I waited on hold for about 15 minutes, not too long compared to some companies. Their tech support was friendly and knowledgeable. They offer a 3-year warranty on the motherboard.

Conclusion

This is one of the cheapest nForce4 Ultra motherboard out there; this motherboard is selling at around the same price that a normal nForce4 motherboard sells at, while having a better chipset that has more options, including a faster hyper transport link. If you are on a budget and looking for a motherboard that will do everything you want it to (besides SLI), you won't be disappointed with this one.
