Our own newly redesigned website started from a basic template that was heavily modified to suit our needs and the same can be done for you. Using our simple sea website templates on our site you can buy website templates A clean and orderly design is the best way to describe what Gigabyte
has done with the 7VRXP. The aqua blue PCB of the 7VRXP is a nice touch
compared with the typical brown and green PCB seen on most boards. As
with most motherboards, you will find five PCI slots on the 7VRXP and
an AGP 2.0 compliant slot. There are three DIMM slots for up to 3GB of
DDR memory. As you would suspect, DDR333 (PC2700) is supported, and the
7VRXP is backward compatible with slower DDR memory speeds.

Gigabyte has provided you with two brackets providing six USB connections
for the motherboard. There are two USB 1.1 connections on one bracket,
and four USB 2.0 connections with the second bracket. As most of us have
found out, you can never have too many USB ports.

For you "media buffs" there is a Memory Stick / Security Digital
(MMC) / Smart Card Reader connector. This is certainly not a common thing
among board makers, but a welcome addition if you are a user of digital
cameras and MP3 players.
The 7VRXP is full of integrated features that help add to the value
of this board. Starting the list of features is the Promise PDC20276 ATA133
RAID controller. The Promise PDC20276 supports RAID 0, 1. Essentially
this is the "lite" version from Promise. The "lite"
version allows only two drives to be stripped together to come up with
the RAID 0, 1 configuration. If you so choose not to run RAID in your
particular setup, you can use the connections as additional IDE ports.

The Realtek 8100BL Ethernet 10/100MB LAN controller is Gigabyte's chip
of choice for the 7VRXP. Since broadband and networks are commonplace
anymore, it is nice to see this being a part of the motherboard instead
of filling up a PCI slot.
A Gigabyte motherboard just would not be complete without a DualBIOS
and the 7VRXP is no exception. There are actually two BIOS chips onboard.
One BIOS chip is for primary usage and the other is for backup purposes.
This is one nice feature to have when you have met with disaster such
as a BIOS flash, a virus or other catastrophic failures. The second BIOS
automatically takes over upon your next reboot when the primary BIOS fails.
The 7VRXP also provides onboard sound via the Creative CT5880 sound
chip. This chip essentially adds a Creative Labs PCI 128 sound card to
your system. PCI 128 software and drivers are shipped with this board
to support the CT5880 chip. Surprisingly this onboard chip will allow
the 7VRXP to support up to a 5.1 speaker arrangement. Standard Line-in/out
and Microphone connectors are provided along with a Game port.
