We installed each of these units in a PC built in a LianLi PC-60 case to run some voltage tests. The motherboard is an ASUS A7N8X standard with an Athlon 1700XP, 2X 256MB of Crucial PC2100 DDR RAM and a VisionTek GeForce 3 64MB video card. The voltages were monitored by the hardware monitor in the BIOS and Motherboard Monitor 5. The activity during the data transfer and Toast test is shown here.

According to the BIOS, these are the voltage readings we got with the Enermax and I-Star:

While doing some serious data transfer between hard disc drives and running Toast, with readings from MBM5, these are the voltage readings we got with the Enermax and the I-Star:

With one of the two power supplies turned off on the I-Star the green remote LED and rear panel LED blink, the appropriate amber LED turns off and an alarm sounds. After turning off the alarm, these are the readings from MBM5 while transferring data between four separate drives:
