Now a days people are finding that they are running out of places to mount hard drives in their systems. Well we have a possible solution for you. What if you could get a mounting frame that mounts in one of the many unused 5 ¼" bays you have in your system? What if the frame not only allowed you to mount an IDE or SCSI hard drive but also had a fan to push air past the drive to help keep it cool. How about a temperature-monitoring device that allows you to monitor the temp of your hard drive, internal case temps, GPU temp or any other temps you may be interested in?

Well, here it is the H.D.D Transfer Frame with temperature monitoring.

This unit is made of a sturdy plastic and mounts easily in any 5 ¼" drive bay. The hard drive mounts in the center of the unit using the screws provided. You can see the hard drive tabs on each side of the unit. On the right is the fan that helps cool the drive. It is simply connected in line with the hard drive 4 pin power connector from the power supply unit.

To the left you see the back of the Temperature Monitoring device with the attached probe. This device runs on a small watch battery and requires no external power source. The probe is connected to the monitor via a cable that is close to 36" long. This allows the probe to be used to monitor the temp of any device mounted inside your case. If you are an avid over-clocker this is ideal for you. You can keep track of case temps or the temp of your video card's GPU.

Even if you aren't looking for a mount for a spare hard drive the frame's temperature monitor alone is reason enough for purchasing the unit.

The digital readout display is easy and convenient to read. This type of monitoring doesn't require the installation of software and uses NO system resources.

The unit fits well in several of the cases I have tested it in. It installs in minutes with the use of a simple screwdriver.
